Good Day everyone, hope all is well. I know I haven't had many Baseball games yet. For those who do know me, I live and die by stats. I actually enjoy pulling my data together to help me find value. I get better every year, because I learn new stuff all the time.

I do have something interesting that I am going to try. I was listening to a handicapping radio show and someone brought up something that I would like to have a bit of fun with. I will keep track of this on the blog as well.
It is simple, all you do is take any team playing the Astros -1.5. I did this with other teams and made a lot of money. The lines will usually be around +120. The Astros are horrible this year, and will lose 100 games. As long as half of them are by 2 runs, you will win.
Once again this is an aggressive approach, so you start with a small amount. I start with $100. I ill bet 25% of that bankroll.
Today they are playing Seattle and the line is +140. We will bet $25 to win $35.
The blog won $60 bringing the total to $2,137.
Let me know if you guys like plays like the Houston, which we are going to start and the Hockey one. Is this something you like or are following as well. I am just curious. I find it to be fun for something to do on the side, but I have a spreadsheet for this, so I don't have to add it to the blog.
Let me know and good luck.
I do like this approach. You could probably also do that for the Marlins games. I was laying in bed think about this strategy one night last week.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I love everything you've done with the blog. It's seems like you're having a lot more fun than you used to which is good to see. It's also nice to see the bankroll continuing to increase. Keep it up
ReplyDeleteAgreed. This is my go to site right now. I'm trying to make some money to pay off some of my student loans etc.
