Jan 18 2013

Ugly day in college, and I am trying to figure this out. Two years ago I ran into the same issue when conference games came into play. Last year I had no issues, but I will figure this out. I will be more conservative till I do. It doesn't help my cause when I accidentally type an over when I meant under. Oh well. Hockey starts this weekend. I will start slow, because I want to get a good feel of the teams, plus this year will not be like years past.

NFl 1-4
Balt +9
SF -3.5

College
Ugh we are now 42-47-1.

Todays games
Stoneybrook/Vermont Under 115.5
Iona -5.5

NBA

Test is 0-2 for -110.
Todays test Boston/Chicago Under 181.5 $55 to win $50

Sorry, I do have one play for today.

Atl/Brooklyn Under 192. -   The last time these two teams played the game went over and I think that this line is pretty high. Since they just played they will be ready for each other, and I expect a lower scoring game.
Good Luck everyone

  1. I'm just curious, do you actually bet all of these games?

  2. This situation is what makes you a successful handicapper. You're able to have a couple bad days and not get discouraged or careless. I know you'll get everything figured out.

  3. I do bet all these games. When I have a lot of college games, I will bet 1% on each game unless I really like a game. My other bets are around 3 to 4% of my bankroll. I try to keep it small to help me when things go cold. When I start to heat up, my bankroll increases and so does the amount I bet. When I first got started, my bets were like $5 to $10. After a couple good months, I was making $100- $500 bets. I would take money out every now and then, lower my bets a bit and watch it grow. If you want to know more e-mail me at smd16307@yahoo.com. I will be more than happy to try and help you out.

My ultimate goal for myself is to bet enought to make $100,000 a year and live in vegas. I still have a lot of work to do. I do see myself getting better as I learn more. Next year, I am going to concentrate on a couple conferences, since I can't get the data I need to really help me.
