Happy Tuesday. A small day yesterday, and I prefer to win the only game I play, but I cannot win them all. If anyone ever wants to know my opinion on a game, let me know. I would be more than happy to let you know my thoughts. I never want to offend anyone, I am not a pro at this, but I have a lot of knowledge that I am willing to share.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I had a profitable one, even though I made a bad call  with Rutgers. I got to stick with what I know best and that is totals. I liked the under on the Rutgers game, but didnt take both. Live and learn. I didn't bet the Pro Bowl but the over covered thanks to the AFC. I did watch a little bit, and saw some actual defense being played at times. I will make a mental note on that for next year.

NFL 3-4  I am locked in under 48. The line has been steady at 47.5. A lot of public money will come in, and I imagine the line will move. I am also going to take a good long look at props. I like to pick one or two just to make the game more fun for myself. I was once was in vegas when they released the prop betting and there were huge lines. A lot of people make a lot of money at those, so it is a good idea to check them out, and I am not talking about heads and tails.

NHL- 2-2- I don't play many games, because there just aren't enough stats. I thought I saw two teams going in differen't directions and I was wrong. Philly does have a lot of injuries, and maybe this just will be a bad year for them.

Another positive day for me as I have been on fire in college basketball. Here are todays games.

NFL 3-4  I am not going to bet the pro bowl, because I wont bother watching it. If I did I would bet the over.

NHL 2-1
I like the Flyers +120 today. The Flyers usually have slow starts and yesterdays game was big and Tampa is slumping. Vegas has the line at 6, so they are assuming Phl will be scoring a lot, and if that is the case, they should win.

NBA 21-18
Been slumping in the NBA, so I am going to do some major research on trends to take advantage of to get us back on track.

Happy Saturday. Another good day that we should have went 3-0, but Boston lost gas. I was hoping for a game winner at the end so I could cover, but alas it took double overtime and I lost. I am looking forward to a good weekend.

Looking to keep rolling forward here. Back over .500 in college basketball and I have a game I love today. I haven't really stepped out on here, but when I have a play like this, I will let you know. I don't go too crazy with these step outs, nothing is ever 100%, but I will bet two or three times on this game.

NFl- 3-4 Superbowl under 48.. I am not sure if I will place a bet on the probowl. Hard to predict a game where nobody really takes it seriously. In the past I have made a killing on the over, but haven't seen the line out yet. I imagine it will be 70 or 80.

NHL- 1-1- Won with the Rangers, I was thinking about the over too. That would have made a nice parlay. No game today, still not enough data. I am watching the under on Philly/Rangers game as well on the Phx/San Jose. Still too early to know if it is a trend.

What a big day in football. Who would think Balt would go into New England and destroy them like they did. I figured it would be close, but nothing like this. That leads me into one final bet in the NFL which I think is a lock. There are so many reasons why I love this line, but remember never bet too much. If I had a star system, this would be the most stars and I think you want to jump on it early. I've already seen the line drop 1/2 point.

NFL Superbowl bet
Take the Under 48.

Reasons
1) Most Superbowls goes under. Public loves over, who wants to bet on a game that they are going to watch hoping for punts.
2) Two coaches who know each other. This will be played tight.
3) The last time they met was on Thanksgiving, and I recall making a huge bet on the under and winning big. These coaches are defensive minded coaches.

This is my big Superbowl bet. I do lean on SF as a side, but as we all have seen, heart can outbeat talent.

NFL- We won both our NFL games bring us to 3-4 with this blog. I hope that this final superbowl bet will bring us to even as a record.

No game today. The season is young, and I am a stat guy. Not much stats there, but I am logging in everything to see how teams do with little rest.

A big day for football. I saw the line dropped from 10.5 to 7.5 for the Balt/NE game. Money has been flooding in for Balt, which I expected. I originally had 9. I think the game will be close, but I dont see Balt winning here. If you didn't get Balt plus 9 or greater, I would tease NE to -1 and I would probably take Atlanta +10.

Ugly day in college, and I am trying to figure this out. Two years ago I ran into the same issue when conference games came into play. Last year I had no issues, but I will figure this out. I will be more conservative till I do. It doesn't help my cause when I accidentally type an over when I meant under. Oh well. Hockey starts this weekend. I will start slow, because I want to get a good feel of the teams, plus this year will not be like years past.

I want to test out a theory about NBA basketball. The theory states that you would bet the under on the lowest total line in the NBA. Just a blind theory that seems to be work around 57% of the time. So just to have fun, I will test this out. We will start with $1,000 and bet only 5%. Our bets will increase as our balance increases, and we'll see what we will make by the end of the season.

Small card today . Not too much going on. No college basketball plays. There is one game I like, but I only see a slight edge, so I am going to stay away.

NFL 1-4- Rough weekend. Denver let me down. I should have played the over in New England, New England has been an over machine at home. Oh well, we got another week of playoffs.

Had a bad day. Lots of college games that didnt fall my way. I did find a new trend, which I plan on tracking and I think can help. I hope to get a positive day today, and it is a pretty small card. There arent a lot of good lines today.

So close to a great day, but still ended up positive. I hate when I lose by 1 or half a point, and I lost two like that yesterday in college. Then Miami lost the game in the 4th quarter. Oh well these things happen. Part of the game.

Atlanta/Seattle Under 46. This is a good game. I would take Seattle, but when a West Coast team goes back and forth to the east coast, that tends to hurt them. SF is wise to that and when they had that in their schedule, they stayed in Ohio and did not travel back to SF. I also dont trust Atlanta, they should win, but I will play it safe and go with the under.

I am going to tease the Bronco game. This might be closer than some think, but Denver can also blow out a team. I will take Denver -3.5 and Over 40. If you can get Denver -3 even better. Dont let that hook get you.

I am leaning on SF, but will stay away. Greenbay is playing better and I dont trust a young QB in such a big game.

Last game is Houston +9.5. I am even playing a small amount on the money line. Like I mentioned earlier, NE does not cover well,  public is all over NE and any favorite, but I actually see Houston winning.

Had a good day yesterday. Rolling with the NBA and another positive day for college.  Another big day for college, I am trying to trim the games a bit. It is difficult to handicap so many games and work full time.
Started to do some research on hockey. I noticed a that average goals being scores has gone down the last couple of years. I also noticed a big drop off in goals with a shortned season, so it looks like there will be lots of unders this year in the NHL. This is something that I will keep a close eye on. Betting on unders overall is always better than overs to make money. Nobody wants to watch a game hoping that nobody scores.Public money is usually on the over.

I might be back to update NFL today, either today or tomorrow. I am starting to really like Houston +9.5. Didn't realize how poorly New England covers in the playoffs. I think they play a different game than the regular season.

An average day yesterday. Had a rough college basketball day, but hey those things happen. Hard to expect to be around 65% all year. Hockey is starting soon, and I am really excited about that. With a shortned schedule, it is be interesting to see how things play out. I am going to dig into stats from the last time they had a shortned schedule to see how teams did. I am hoping to find some good trends that most will miss.

Another good day. I should have paid attention to the news before I made my pick on the GB game. I thought Ponder would play, but there was not much of an offense without him, so we missed the over. These things happen, but hopefully I will learn from this. A perfect day in the NBA and we were positive in College. I hopefully didnt confuse anyone yesterday. There were lots of games with no totals, so I didnt get to play some games. In the future I will only post the games I play.

College Bowl 7-3, a nice 70%. Year after year I do well with Bowl games. I am not touching todays Bowl game, and the last game will be the under Alabama game.

NFl Playoffs- 0-1
I like Balt -7 here. I believe that Ray Lewis will inspire Balt to play well. Indy isnt as good  on the road as they are at home, and its a big game for luck. Plus Indy is horrible against the run, so look for rice to have a good game.

Great card yesterday, almost had a perfect day. Was perfect in college games, and I am sure by now you have noticed that I am a totals guy. I got up super early this morning to look at all the college games today, and there are a lot. With all those games, Vegas cant focus on everyone, so I hope to take advantage of that, especially with totals. Of course there are not too many totals out, so I will be back later when they post. I have multiple sportsbooks that I use, as I always recomend that everyone do that. You can always shop for the best line and lowest juice.

Had a great day with College, but I am not sure if anybody noticed. I'll have to start to advertise myself again. I would like to think that I am helping others.

College Football- Lost on Kansas St. I love Oregon, so it was difficult for me to go against them. Maybe that was my lesson learned. I really thought that this would be closer. In hindsight, I should have played the Under. I guess I thought Kansas St would score more. They just can't keep up with an offense like Oregon.
