Not everyday can be green. You got to take your lumps and move on. I was on fire with hockey and hit a wall. These things happen, and sometimes things don't work out like you expect. I think a week ago, I explained how important it was to take profits when you can. What I have heard and read, money management is the most important piece of being profitable with sports betting or any gambling to that matter. Of course being correct helps too. In my real account, I took profits twice already this year. I am playing with the casinos money, and even though I hate losing, it makes it easier to swallow that I know I am still up. This wasn't the case for me always. I am sharing this to those who might be just getting in or just havent figured it out yet. It is hard to take money off the table when you are doing well, I guess it's the greed of the game. I see this as a slow process and when I do well quickly, I take it and run.
There isn't that much out there today. One college game, hockey is coming to an end real quick, so you have to be careful. Have you see the line for the redwings over columbus. And its Ty Conklin in goal! Wow. Not sure where the NBA is going. I haven't seen as many good games like the first half of the year, and the NBA is cathcing up with the over'under lines.
Totals
College B-Ball- 70-43-3 $3,452
NBA 38-26-2 $932
NHL 42-22-5 $4,534
Total Profit $8,918
Todays games
NBA
Denver/Bulls Over 199
New Orleans +9.5 <----------- I still like them on the road. They cover over 70% as a road underdog.
NHL-
Philly -1.5 $400 to win $480 <----- Flyers are playing better D and Bry has been the man in goal. I feel a blowout here, so I will take a chance with -1.5.
